Buying new, more and more, all of the time, is how we make our economy work. We get stuff. We throw stuff. We get it. We throw it. Where? Here. There. Everywhere. Landfills mutate into looming mountains of garbage and mighty rivers of plastic strangle our oceans. Isn’t that fantastic?
